Gardai have recovered the body of a missing person.
Michael Hyland went missing on Saturday, April 6 from his apartment on Parnell Street in Limerick.
The 47-year-old was the subject of a missing person appeal in the last few days but his body was found this morning.
A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Roxboro Road, Limerick investigating the missing man Michael Hyland, 47 years, who went missing on 6th April, 2019 have recovered his body this morning, Wednesday 10th April, 2019.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter."
