Gardai seized €225,000 after raiding a number of homes in Co Louth on Saturday.
The searches took place at two properties in The Riverbank and Bryanstown Court areas of Drogheda.
The bust was carried out by officers from the Drogheda Divisional Drugs Unit who are investigating the sale and supply of drugs in the local area.
And during the course of their searches, gardai found a staggering €180,000 of Cannabis herb, €45,000 of cannabis plant and €7,000 cash across the two separate locations.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the find and were brought to Drogheda Garda Station where they are currently being detained.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí have seized cannabis estimated at €225,000 and arrested two men following searches in Drogheda, Co. Louth on 5th June 2021.
"As part of the ongoing operation targeting the cultivation, sale, supply and distribution of drugs in Drogheda, Gardaí attached to the Drogheda Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a number of searches at houses in the Bryanstown Court and The Riverbank areas.
"Approximately €180,000 of Cannabis herb, €45,000 of cannabis plant and €7,000 cash were recovered across the two separate locations.
"The drugs seized will now be sent for further analysis.
"Two men, aged in 30s, have been arrested and were detained at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984."
