Gardai have probed an alleged threat against a secondary school in Co Limerick.
It is understood that an investigation was launched after reports of an undisclosed threat that was made against the school on social media today.
According to local reports, the threat was allegedly made on an educational app that is used by students in the school.
But after speaking with school management, gardai determined there was "no offence disclosed".
In a statement, gardai said: "Gardaí have been liaising closely with the senior management of a school in Limerick today, 11th October 2019, following reports concerning the school appearing on social media.
"No offence disclosed."
