Gardai are on the hunt for a car stolen from a popular seaside spot - and have shared a description of what to keep your eye out for.

Officers in Laytown, Co Meath are on the lookout for a 162 Dublin reg Honda HR-V, which was nicked in the early hours of Saturday morning from outside a house in the Inse Bay area.

And anyone who may have any information is being urged to get in touch with the local station.

"Gardai in Laytown are investigating the theft of a car overnight," they said.

"The car, a 162 D registered grey Honda HR-V, was taken from outside a house at Inse Bay at 4am.
