A motorist was caught driving a tractor which hadn't been taxed or insured in 15 years.
Gardai pulled over the farm vehicle which was leaking oil from its engine on a national road.
Officers in Co Wexford stopped the tractor and subsequently discovered it wasn't insured since 2004. The vehicle was impounded.
A garda tweet said: "Wexford Road Policing Unit stopped this tractor which had oil leaking from the engine.
"Hadn't been taxed or insured since 2004. Tractor impounded."
Meanwhile, a car was stopped in Dublin which had no tax or NCT for over a year.
On Monday, a garda tweet said: "Gardaí in Irishtown stopped this car today.
"No Tax/NCT for over a year, driver thought someone else had looked after that!! Car seized and proceedings to follow."
