Gardaí on patrol in South Dublin arrested a driver that had been disqualified for five years.
The reckless motorist was driving with no valid tax dispayed on their vehicle.
Their van was stopped by guards in Harold's Cross.
Gardaí quickly realised that the driver had been banned from driving for five years.
They were arrested and their vehicle was seized.
An Garda Siochána tweeted: "Gardaí on patrol in Harold's Cross stopped a van that had no valid tax displayed on vehicle.
"Following further enquiries by Gardaí, the driver was serving a 5 year disqualification.
"Driver was promptly arrested and vehicle seized."
