A motorist who pulled out in front of a squad car got more than they bargained for after gardai made a big discovery.
The individual was driving in Cahir, Co Tipperary recently when they were intercepted by members of the force on patrol.
After the Ford car pulled out in front of the squad car in the town, gardai then stopped the vehicle.
They subsequently discovered that the motorist had been recently disqualified from driving for ten years.
The person was arrested and their car was seized.
They will now have to appear in court in relation to the offence.
Gardai in Tipperary said: "Cahir Gardai a short time ago intercepted the above Ford being driven by a motorist who was recently disqualified from driving for 10 years.
"Having pulled out in front of a patrol car in the town, Gardai stopped and arrested the motorist and seized the vehicle.
"The motorist has been charged to appear before court."
