Gardai have appealed for witnesses after a teenager died following a horror stabbing in south Dublin last night.
A murder investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old boy received fatal injuries during the shocking incident at Finsbury Park in Dundrum.
The stabbing happened at around 8.10pm in the Dublin 14 suburb and the young man was rushed to St James's Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

It's understood from initial garda enquiries that a number of people were in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

No arrests have been made in connection with the killing, and the scene at Finsbury Park remains sealed off by gardai this morning.
A Post Mortem examination is expected to be carried out later today while a full Garda technical examination will take place at the scene of the stabbing this morning.
