Gardai have launched a manhunt after a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin.
The suspect allegedly threatened an employee carrying a cash box with a gun during the incident on Friday morning.
The thief stole the undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene on Taney Road, Dundrum.
He fled the scene in a white van which was found burmt out on Taney Crescent shortly after.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí at Dundrum, Dublin 14 are appealing for witnesses following a cash-in-transit robbery that occurred at a premises on Taney Road, Dundrum at approximately 10.35am this morning, Friday December 13th 2019.
"No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
"Gardaí are also appealing for any road users with camera footage who were travelling in the Dundrum area between the hours of 10am and 11am particularly on Taney Road and Taney Crescent to contact the incident room at Dundrum Garda Station 01 01- 666 5600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
