Gardai have launched an investigation and taped off an apartment block in west Dublin after a number of shots were fired in the area.
Dublin Live understands that up to three shots were fired in the Cedarbrook area of Cherry Orchard just after lunchtime this afternoon at around 2.30pm.
The scene on Cedarbrook Way currently has a number of gardai on scene.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating reports of shots fired in Cedarbrook, Cherry Orchard, this afternoon at approximately 2:30pm.
"No injuries have been reported. No further information is available at this time."
