Gardai launch investigation after man's body found at home in Co Donegal

Gardai have launched an investigation after the discovery of a man's body in Co Donegal.

The man, who was understood to be in his 90s, was found at the house at Barnes outside the village of Termon late on Sunday night.

It is understood the man lived alone and was a farmer.

A Garda forensic team have been at the scene of the discovery from early Monday morning.

A number of Garda patrol vehicles as well as Scenes of Crime officers were at the scene of the incident this morning.

There are no further details at this stage.
