Gardai launch investigation after body of man found in Dublin city house

Gardai have launched a probe after the body of a man was found in Dublin City on Monday evening.

The male was discovered at a resident in Kevin Barry House on Coleraine Street shortly after 6pm by officers.

The body remained at the scene late on Monday.

Investigating Gardai sealed off the incident to preserve it for technical examination and further probes.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a man at a residence in Kevin Barry House, Coleraine Street, Dublin 7, at approximately 6.20pm on Monday, September 12, 2022.

"The body remains at the scene which is currently preserved for technical examination."
