Gardai have issued a Child Rescue Ireland Alert as they urgently search for a missing two-year-old.
Investigators have serious concerns that there is an immediate risk to Aoife Haynes Murphy, who was taken from Swinford Health Centre in Co Mayo, in contravention of a court order.
The incident happened at around 10.10am.
Aoife is understood to be travelling with her parents - Paul Murphy, 33, and Kimberly Haynes, 34 - in a black Kia Sportage car with a registration number of KE21ENH.
Aoife, who is described as having fair hair, was wearing a pink body suit and checked dress, cream tights, pink dock martin boots and an animal print jacket with a hood when she was last seen.
Gardai say that the jacket is "very distinctive" as it has a number of animal prints "including giraffes, zebras, monkeys and elephants."
Her father Paul is described as being 5"6 in height, of slight build with a shaved head. Kimberly is said to be 5"8 in height of slim build with long straight black hair.
Gardai believe that the trio are still in the Dublin City area.
Officers are urging the public not to approach those involved. If anyone sees anything or has any information they are asked to immediately call 999 or 112.
