Gardai issue appeal over missing Limerick teenager last seen on Dublin's O'Connell Street

Gardai have appealed for help in tracing a teenager last seen on O'Connell Street in Dublin.

Shania Barrett from Glenroe, Co Limerick, hasn't been seen since last Thursday, February 20.

The 17-year-old is known to often visit Limerick, Galway and Drogheda, Co Louth.

Gardai are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to get to contact Store Street Garda Station.

A spokeswoman said: "Shania is described as being 5' 3” in height, medium build, long black hair and blue eyes. 

"When last seen Shania was wearing a black Ellesse tracksuit.

"Anyone with information or who can assist Gardaí in locating Shania are asked to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01 - 6668000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
