Gardai have appealed for witnesses after shots were fired at a house in Longford.
The incident happened just before 9pm on Wednesday, February 12.
Three people were inside in the house in Annaly Gardens at the time but no-one was injured.
There was some damage caused to the front door of the house.
A garda spokesperson said: "A number of Garda units attended the incident and the scene was technically examined.
"Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station 043-3350570, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
