Gardai issue appeal after missing goat found in Cork

An appeal for someone to collect their missing goat has been issued by gardai.

Officers found the wandering animal on a road in Mallow, Co Cork today.

It is wearing a yellow collar, meaning it has an owner somewhere - and gardai are anxious to reunite them with the goat.

Gardai tweeted: "You've goat to be kidding me...

"This silly billy was wandering around St Joseph's Road in Mallow.

"She's wearing a yellow collar so someone is missing her.

"She is currently being looked after in Mallow Garda Station. Call 022 31450."
