Gardai investigating as house 'badly damaged' in fire at premises in Coolock, Dublin

A north Dublin house has been left "badly damaged" following a fire that blazed through the premises on Saturday night.

Gardai and emergency services battled hard to put out the house fire in the Coolock area which took place at around 10:35pm.

The scene at Coolock Drive is now the subject of a Garda Forensic Examination to establish the cause of the fire.

A spokesman for the Gardai told Dublin Live that no injuries were reported from the incident and that investigations are ongoing.

He said: "Gardaí in Coolock, Dublin 5 are investigating a house fire which occurred at Coolock Drive at approximately 10.35pm last night, Saturday 2nd November 2019.

"Gardaí and Fire personnel attended the scene. The house has been badly damaged."
