Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in "unexplained circumstances" which occurred in Dundrum on Tuesday night.
At around 11pm on Tuesday night, a man, who has not been named, lost his life with Gardaí stating they are now investigating the circumstances surrounding this man’s death.
By the time Gardaí arrived at the scene last night, paramedics were already in attendance treating the male for his injuries. However, despite their efforts the man was later pronounced dead.

The body of the man, aged in his 50s, remains at the scene this morning. The scene is currently preserved and will later be examined by the Garda Technical Bureau.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem will now be arranged.
An incident room has been set up at Dundrum Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer.
Gardaí have asked that any person with information on this incident to contact Gardaí in Dundrum on 01 666 5600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station. They added that there is no Garda spokesperson available.
