Gardaí investigating cross-border smuggling have seized two lorries at Dublin Port.
The tractor and trailer units they detained are suspected to be involved in organised crime.
They would not comment on who owned the lorries when asked but said they were taken as part of a Criminal Assets Bureau probe, Belfast Live reports.
A spokesperson said: "As part of an ongoing Criminal Assets Bureau investigation into a cross border organised crime group suspected to be involved in smuggling, two (2) Tractor Units and two (2) Curtain Sided Trailer Unit have been detained at Dublin Port this morning.
