People in a South Dublin suburb have been warned after a number of random attacks including one that left a man hospitalised.
A number of incidents have been reported in the Old Bawn area of Tallaght over the last nine days
Last Saturday, four men were reportedly hiding in bushes near the school and attacking people passing by.
A Facebook page sent out a warning saying the men were aged between 18 and 20, and had been drinking in the area.

Two days later on nearby Watermeadow Drive, and innocent man hospitalised after two men viciously pounced on.
It's understood the man, 30s, was walking in the area when two men came up behind him.
He was hit over the head with a bottle before being kicked repeatedly on the ground.
He was taken to hospital with wounds to the face and there are fears he will be left with a bad scar.
A garda spokesperson confirmed they are investigating the incident and that no arrests have been made.
They said: "Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in Watermeadow Drive, Tallaght, Co. Dublin at approximately 10:30pm on the 23rd of September 2019. A male in his 30s was taken to Tallaght Hospital with minor injuries.
"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing."
