Gardai are investigating an alleged "staged" road traffic collision in North County Dublin.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on Thursday morning after the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau conducted a search in the northside of the capital.
The man is being detained under the Section 4 Criminal Justice Act and is currently at a Dublin garda station where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
As well as this, a search warrant was executed at a Solicitor's office in the Dublin area as part of the overall investigation.
