Gardai are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident that took place at apartments in Dublin City last night.
It is understood that a young male was the alleged victim of an incident that took place at apartments in Usher's Quay at around 7:30pm on Monday night.
A source told Dublin Live that the victim was allegedly "forced to do something of a sexual nature" while in the apartment.
As many as five garda cars rushed to the scene when the alarm was raised with the alleged victim taken from the scene in a Garda car.
Forensics stayed at the scene until the late hours of the evening with as many as two apartments searched by investigating Gardai.
Clothes and under items were taken from the apartments with the alleged victim understood not to be living in the apartments.
A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "We are investigating an incident. No further information is available at this time."
