Dublin Live can reveal that a woman has been seriously assaulted in Dublin following an incident that took place in the Howth area late on Saturday night.
A pavement in the area was cordoned off from 1am until around 12pm on Sunday with garda presence there for the duration.
A Garda spokesman confirmed that no arrests had been made in relation to the attack and investigations are ongoing.
