Gardai say they are "investigating all circumstances" after the body of a woman was discovered at a north Dublin apartment early this morning.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was found dead at an apartment in the Waterside Drive area of Malahide shortly before 6am.
Gardai raced to the premises along with an ambulance and units from Dublin Fire Brigade but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene - Dublin Live reports.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live the results of a post mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
He said: "Gardai are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, aged in her 30s, at an apartment in the Waterside Drive area of Malahide that occurred on 22/09/2020 at approximately 5:45am.
"Gardai and emergency services attended. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem will determine the course of the garda investigation.
"Investigations are ongoing."
