Gardai are investigating all of the circumstances after a woman's body was found near the railway track in Broombridge, Dublin 7.
The discovery was made this morning and Luas services at Broombridge were halted while emergency services attended the scene. The body of the deceased was brought to the city morgue this afternoon.
A garda spokeswoman said a post mortem will take place and the results will determine the course of the investigation. She said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a woman near the railway track in Broombridge, Dublin 7 this morning, Monday 24th October 2022.

"The body of the deceased was removed from the scene to the City Morgue this afternoon. A post mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation."
