Gardai are probing an attack on a teenager in a skate park last night.
The incident took place after 7pm on Saturday, March 30 in Carrigaline, Co Cork.
It is believed the teen was punched in the face as part of an assault by a gang of youths at a skate park.
It is understood the boy was taken to Cork University Hospital as a precaution.
There were earlier reports of a stabbing incident in the town, but these were unsubstantiated.
A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred shortly after 7pm on 30 March 2019 at the Skate Park in Carrigaline.
"A male youth received minor injuries when he was assaulted by a group of youths.
"There have been no arrests and investigations are ongoing."
