Gardai investigating after 'petrol bomb' thrown at house in Mohill, Co Leitrim

Gardai are investigating a suspected petrol bomb attack in Co Leitrim last night.

The incident happened around 2am in Mohill when the suspect device was thrown at the front door of a house, damaging it.

Fire services attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.

No arrests have yet been made.

A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident that occurred in Mohill, Co. Leitrim this morning the 13th of June 2019 at approx. 2am.

"A suspect device was thrown at a house in Mohill causing damage to the front door.

"Extinguished by Fire Services. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
