An investigation is under way after a man's body was recovered from the water of an Irish river over the weekend.
Gardai said they are "investigating all the circumstances" of the discovery.
The body of a man in his 50s was taken from the water in Belturbet, Co Cavan shortly after 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
His body was pulled from the River Erne at the jetty area in the popular holiday town.
The man's remains were taken to Cavan General Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place at a later date.
It is understood that gardai do not suspect foul play following the incident.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances after a the body of a man in his 50s was taken from the water in Belturbet, shortly after 4pm on Saturday afternoon, 28th August 2021.

"His body was removed to Cavan General Hospital where a post-mortem is due to take place at a later date."
It comes as a man also died following an incident at a Dublin harbour on Saturday.
The man, who was in his 60s, fell ill at Carlisle Pier at Dun Laoghaire Harbour on Saturday afternoon.
Gardai and the Irish Coast Guard attended the scene but the man was pronounced dead after receiving medical treatment.
His body was taken to Loughlinstown Hospital for post mortem examination.
