Gardai investigating after 13-year-old stabbed in North Dublin shop

Gardai are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was reportedly stabbed in a shop in North Dublin.

The incident happened at a premises on the Ballygall Road last night with the teen allegedly suffering injuries to his arm.

It is alleged that the youngster was stabbed in the arm and had to be taken away by ambulance.

A garda spokesperson told Dublin Live that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson said: "Gardai are investigating an assault incident that occurred at a retail premises in the Ballygall Road area of Finglas on 12/5/19 at approximately 7:45pm.

"A male youth, 13 years, is reported to have received stab injuries to his arm. No arrests have been made at this stage. Investigations are ongoing."
