Gardai are investigating the "unexplained death" of a woman at a house in Co Cork.
The discovery was made at a home in the Bishopstown area of the city last night.
Officers were called to the scene where they found the body of a woman in her 50s.
A post mortem exam is due to take place later today, with the results set to determine the course of the garda investigation.
Gardai said they were currently investigating "all circumstances" surrounding the death.
A spokesman added that no further information was available at this time.
