Gardai investigate 'sudden death' after man's body found in Limerick house

Gardai are investigating after a man's body was found at a house in Co Limerick

The discovery was made on Monday in the Castletroy area of the city.

Officers attended the "sudden death incident" yesterday morning where a man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is understood that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A post mortem is set to be carried out in the coming days.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating a sudden death incident following the discovery of a body (man in his 60s) on April 19, 2021 at a house in Castletroy, Limerick."
