Gardai at Henry Street garda station are appealing for witnesses of an assault if a young man in Limerick.
The assault took place at approximately 6.30pm on Sunday, August 22, at Arthurs Quay Park.
A 19-year-old teenager was rushed to hospital after being struck on the top of the head, which resulted in the young man needing stitches.
A garda spokesperson said, “Gardaí are investigating an assault which occurred in Arthurs Quay, Co Limerick on the 22 nd August 2021 at approximately 6:30pm.

“A male, aged in his late teens, was taken to Limerick University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
Gardai have appealed for any witnesses of the assault to contact Henry Street garda station on 061 212400 or call the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or contact any garda station.
