Gardai investigate as man's body found at house in Enfield, Co Meath

A garda investigation has been launched after a man's body was found at a house in Co Meath on Friday.

Members of the force are probing "all the circumstances" surrounding the grim discovery.

The body of a man was found at a home on the Trim Road in Enfield, Co Meath, at around 8.30 on Friday morning.

Gardai have sealed off the scene in order to carry out a technical exam.

They say their investigations in the discovery are continuing.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a man at a residential property on the Trim Road, Enfield, Co. Meath, at approximately 8.30am this morning.

"The scene is currently being preserved to allow for a technical examination to take place.

"Investigations are ongoing."
