Gardai are investigating after a bus had its window smashed in Kilkenny city.
Officers are probing the incident which took place in Larchfield just before 8pm on Monday evening.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made at this early stage.
An object was thrown at the the “City Direct” bus, KLCR reports.
Anybody who saw the incident is being asked to contact gardai.
A garda spokeswoman told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred in Larchfield, Kilkenny on the 11 January 2021 at approximately 8:00pm.
"A bus was damaged during the course of the incident.No injuries reported. No arrests have been made.
"Investigations are ongoing."
