Gardai are investigating after a man was stabbed a number of times in Cork City.
The incident happened on Sunday night at Ardmore Ave, Knocknaheeney, Cork City.
The 30-year-old was rushed to the Cork University Hospital.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí at Gurranabraher in Cork are investigating a stabbing incident which occurred at Ardmore Ave, Knocknaheeney, Cork at approximately 10.50pm, Sunday 12 May, 2019.
"A 30-year-old man received a number of stab wounds, he was taken to Cork University Hospital.
"The scene has been preserved for a technical examination, investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made."
