Gardai investigate after boy, 13, stabbed in Dublin shop

A 13-year-old boy has been stabbed at a shop in Finglas, north Dublin.

Gardai are currently investigating after the incident at a premises on the Ballygall road last night.

It is alleged that the youngster was stabbed in the arm and had to be taken away by ambulance, Dublin Live reports.

A garda spokesperson said that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesperson said: "Gardai are investigating an assault incident that occurred at a retail premises in the Ballygall Road area of Finglas on 12/5/19 at approximately 7:45pm.

"A male youth, 13 years, is reported to have received stab injuries to his arm.

"No arrests have been made at this stage. Investigations are ongoing."
