Gardai hunting pair after man rushed to hospital following assault in popular St Anne's Park

Gardai are hunting a pair of unidentified attackers after a man was hospitalised following an assault in a Dublin park.

The man, 26, was jumped in St Anne's Park in Raheny on Sunday evening by the two armed assailants.

And Gardai have put out an appeal to the public for information to help catch the pair.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí attended the scene of an assault on the evening of Sunday, the 14th of March 2021 at St Anne’s Park, Raheny, Co. Dublin.

"A male, aged 26 years, received injuries following an assault involving a pair of unidentified males. He was conveyed to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

"No arrests have been made at this stage. Investigations are ongoing.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Raheny Garda Station (01) 666 4300."
