Gardai hunt for creep predator who chased scared children down dark path in quiet Dublin park

Gardai are investigating after a group of young kids were chased by a dangerous creep in a quiet Dublin park on Monday.

Officers are on the hunt for the predator who is alleged to have ran after the gang of girls forcing them down a dark path of a park in Lucan.

The little girls had been walking along the footpath in the park when they spotted the suspicious person following closely behind them, Dublin Live reports.

The creep kept getting closer and closer and once the girls started to run, it became a scary chase between them and the attacker.

It is understood that the girls thankfully made it to safety and escaped from the man before raising the alarm with Gardai.

He is described as wearing a dark hoodie with shorts and white shoes when the frightening attack took place.

Gardai are investigating the shocking incident, a spokesman confirmed.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the scary ordeal is asked to get in contact with investigators.

He said: “Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred in Lucan, Dublin on 10th August 2020 at approximately 1:00pm.

He added: "Enquiries are ongoing and no further information is available at this time.”
