Gardai find woman in possession of haul of goods after suspicious activity in Irish pharmacies

Gardai found a woman in possession of a haul of goods after noticing suspicious activity in pharmacies in Offaly on Tuesday.

Officers were alerted to the woman's behaviour by staff at numerous stores in Tullamore on Tuesday afternoon.

After a follow-up-search a woman was found with a haul of stolen items.

She was arrested and charged with theft offences by Tullamore Community Policing Unit.

Garda Siochana Laois Offaly posted on Facebook: "Following reports of suspicious activity in numerous pharmacies in Tullamore town today, a female was subsequently found in possession of stolen items, arrested and charged with theft offences by Tullamore Community Policing Unit."
