Gardai have confirmed the body of a missing woman has been found.
Valerie Hough, 42, was reported missing from her home in the Knockroe area of Castlerea, Co Roscommon on Monday.
A spokesman said: "The body of missing person Valerie Hough has been located.
"A file will now be prepared for the Coroner."
It's understood the case is being treated as a "personal tragedy".
