Gardai 'concerned' for safety of missing Donegal man as appeal launched

Gardai said they were concerned for the safety of a missing Donegal man as they launched an appeal to track him down.

Ken Keeney, 59, from the Cockhill area of Buncrana was last seen at around 10am yesterday.

He is described as being around 5'7'' in height with a thin build, fair/grey hair and blue eyes.

Officers said he was last seen wearing a white jumper and blue jeans.

Both gardai and Ken's family are concerned for his welfare.

A spokesman said: "Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 59 year old Ken Keeney who was last seen in the Cockhill area of Buncrana, County Donegal, at approximately 10am on Saturday, 5th September, 2020.

"Ken is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height with a thin build, fair/grey hair and blue eyes.

"He was last seen wearing a white jumper and blue jeans.

"Gardaí and Ken's family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074 9320540."
