Anyone who has ever seen the classic 'DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story' film will be familiar with Patches O'Houlihan's speech where he hilariously suggests "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball" before lashing a spanner in the face of one of the members of the dodgeball team.
As it turns out, the admin of the 'GardaTraffic' twitter account is clearly a fan of the flick, as they put their spin own the quote after catching two men trying to remove a clamp on a car.
They said: "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge the law!?
"Two males were observed trying to remove a clamp with a wrench by DMR Roads Policing Unit.
"Neither males owned the car and both were arrested for criminal damage. Court appearance to follow."
Needless to say we approve of their spin on the classic line.
