A man has been charged in connection with an investigation into the murder of a Cork man.
Paul Jones, 55, was found dead last Saturday at his home on Bandon Road near the city centre.
A man, in his 40s, and a woman, in her 50s, were arrested on Tuesday in relation to the death of the dad-of-one.
Gardai have now charged the man who is to appear before Court District Court at 10.30am on Thursday. He was being detained ar Mayfield Garda Station.

The woman remains in custody at Togher Garda Station.
A spokesman said: "The man is his 40's detained at Mayfield Garda Station has been charged in relation to this incident. He will appear before Cork District Court at 10:30am this morning 12/09/2019.
"The woman in her 50's remains in custody at Togher Garda Station."
His body was discovered at a one-storey rented property at 11.30am on Saturday.
The body was removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem took place.
