This outrageous footage shows the moment a "closed" Dublin barbers was busted by Gardai for apparently operating during Level 5 restrictions according to Dublin Live.
Empire Barbershop in Tallaght is now the second barbers in just over a week to be outed for allegedly cutting hair despite being told to shut up shop until December by the Government.
The Tallaght trimmer was "packed with customers and barbers" according to a source with "no social distancing taking place" in the premises.
The video shows as many as three officers stepping inside the shop while four men and one young person sitting in the chair are all visible inside - with one of the alleged workers seen
A source told Dublin Live: "I was there for about one hour last night and it was packed. I'd say at least 12 people went in and out."
It is understood that the Gardai have received numerous calls about the barbers in recent days.
It is also understood that upon arrival last night that one of the barbers informed Gardai that they were teaching classes in the building.
Under current restrictions, we are allowed to meet up with someone from one other household.
But, it must be done in an outdoor setting where social distancing can be maintained - meaning that the barbers were still breaching Covid-19 rules if the allegations against them are proven.
The source continued: "Gardai arrived to speak to the owner and one of the people working there said that they were teaching classes.
"If they were teaching classes, they would have had one customer in there for one hour at least, and not firing out haircuts, because the haircut would be analysed cut by cut.
"But there was a constant stream of people coming and paying for the service."
An Garda Siochana and the barber in question have been contacted regarding the incident.
