Gardai busted a "break the rules" Dublin beach rave over the weekend as 10 patrol cars were sent to deal with the scandalous scenes just days before NPHET and Government make one of the most important decisions in Irish history.
The officers landed at the Covid-breaching party just minutes before it was about to start at 7pm on Dollymount Beach on Saturday.
Information about the party was posted on social media which said: "Message us to find out date, time and location for the ‘break the rules' party. B.Y.O.B. We are still searching for barbecue in the previous post. Let us know if someone has one or two."
Anyone who messaged the site was sent a map showing the location of the party which was located near the Bull Wall Walkway.
They text giving to ravers added: "Date and time. 21.11 – 7pm. B.Y.O.B. We have two loudspeakers, lightshow, fire and maybe fireworks."
A throng of Garda cars stormed the area just before 7pm sending the party-going ravers home before fun began.
An updated post on the party website read: "Update – 10 squad cars showed by.
“The person with the music gear for it got sent on his way.
"About 10 people still hanging around. Cars floating up and down Bull Island like they’re looking for it."
There were also shocking scenes on a packed Grafton Street this weekend as a large group of adults danced and sang in good spirits under the Christmas lights - with many having no regard to COVID-19 rules.
Footage obtained by Dublin Live shows revellers living it up on the main shopping thoroughfare belting it out the Oasis classic Don't Look Back In Anger.
