Gardai brilliantly respond to social media trolls under serious Facebook post about drug seizure

The admin of the Munster Garda Facebook page was in brilliant form the last few days responding to trolls on their official account.

Posting about a drug seizure in Kerry, a garda spokesperson said they found €20,000 worth of cannabis herb hidden in the back garden of a house in Listowel - accompanied with the post was a picture of the seized drugs.

And as ever with these types of garda pictures, dozens of amateur comedians left a comment saying "liked and shared, hope I win".

But on this occasion the garda admin decided to reply to these people saying "if I hear 'liked and shared, hope I win' one more time....".

And they didn't stop there, replying funnily to several of smart comments under the news update, CorkBeo reports.

Upon being asked why they use bags with a hazard sign on them, the garda account replied: "Same bags used for all of our drugs. We don't have one special bag for cannabis with a peace symbol on it."

When asked if they deliver they simply replied: "Summonses, yes."

The gas garda Facebook controller came in for huge praise for their sense of humour with hundreds of likes and comments on the post.

It is one of a number updates regarding drugs in the Cork, Limerick, Kerry and Tipperary region as gardai clamp down on drug dealers.
