Gardaí arrested two people after finding firearms at an address in Tallaght.
The guards conducted a search on Friday, July 23, shortly after 4pm, as part of an intelligence led operation.
Both shotguns were sent to the Ballistics Unit for analysis.
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old were arrested in relation to the seizure today.
The young men are detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
Investigations are ongoing.
