Gardai have arrested a second person in connection with the armed robbery incident near the Guinness Storehouse last week.
Shocking footage showed two Italian tourists, a teacher and a student, being held at gunpoint by thugs near at Longs Place, Dublin 8 on October 21.
The teen's wallet was stolen in the frightening incident which was caught on CCTV.
A man in his late 30s was arrested and is currently being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.
A garda spokesman said: “Today, Monday October 28, 2019, a male in his late 30s has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred on Monday October 21, 2019 at Longs Place, Dublin 8.
“He is currently being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 30 – Offences Against The State Act 1939.
“This is the second person to be arrested in relation to this investigation which is ongoing.”
The first arrest was made last Thursday when gardai detained a man in his 30s under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Kevin Street Garda Station.
