Gardai arrest teenager in relation to South William Street brawl

Gardai have arrested a fourth teenager in relation to the South William Street brawl which occurred last Thursday.

The male in his late teens was arrested yesterday, 22 June 2021, in connection to the alleged incident on the 17 June 2021.

He was taken to Pearse Street Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He was later charged and brought to appear before Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, 23 June 2021.

Three young men were charged with a violent disorder offence in connection to the incident which occurred in Dublin City Centre last week.

The accused are all from the north Dublin area and are aged 18, 20 and 23.

They appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice last Friday.

They were arrested following the incident on South William Street.

Gardai are still appealing for witnesses to contact Pearse Street Station with any information they may have as investigations are still ongoing.
