Gardai appealing for cyclist who may have witnessed fatal west Dublin crash to come forward

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road accident in west Dublin on Wednesday evening.

The tragic incident occurred on the Old Navan Road, at the Saddlers Estate in Mulhuddart at around 7.30p.m.

A male motorcyclist, 45, passed away at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown after he was involved in a collision with a car.

Gardai have expressed interested in speaking with a pedal cyclist who they believe was at the scene and may have witnessed the crash.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are appealing to any persons who were in the area at the time of the collision and may have witnessed it to contact them.

"They are particularly interested to speak with a pedal cyclist who was also at the scene and may have witnessed the collision.
